What if a buyer rejects my order?

If a buyer rejects your order, the course of action you take depends on whether the order is Cash on Delivery.
If the order is not Cash on Delivery:
  • The order will be marked as failed delivery by the logistics service provider and the order will be returned to you.
  • Next, check the return-order shipping method:
    • Pick-up: Check if your order has been returned to your warehouse.
    • Drop-off: Physically check at the drop-off point if your order has been returned.
If the order is Cash on Delivery:
  • According to our Cash on Delivery policy, a buyer has the right to reject an order before payment if:
    • The package is unopened
    • The package is damaged by the seller or logistics service provider
    • The buyer decides to reject the order once visually examining the package
  • If the order is rejected, we will cover the reverse shipping fee and the logistics service provider will ship the order back to you — the latest logistics status should show Return Received.
  • Next, check the return-order shipping method:
    • Pick-up: Check if your order has been returned to your warehouse.
    • Drop-off: Physically check at the drop-off point if your order has been returned.
To check or stay updated on your order's return, visit Manage Orders in Seller Center.
  1. Locate the affected Order ID on the To ship or Shipped tab.
  2. Hover over the Order ID and Click View logistics. You can view the logistic information under Tracking results.
