Next-Day Delivery Rate (NDDR)

From 15th August 2025, all Sellers will be enrolled into this delivery type.
Delivering orders quickly is key to winning buyer trust and boosting your shop performance. Next-Day Delivery (NDD) orders help you stand out by offering buyers faster shipping times. Managing these orders well can improve your Next-Day Delivery Rate (NDDR), which also positively impacts your Fast Dispatch Rate (FDR) and overall Store Rating.
This guide covers everything you need to know about NDD orders, including shipping deadlines, how to track your NDDR, and tips to help you stay on top of these orders.

When Do I Need to Ship Next-Day Delivery (NDD) Orders?

Orders tagged as Next-Day Delivery must have their status updated to “Shipped” (i.e., handed over to the courier and scanned by the logistics service provider) within the following timeframes:

  • (For pick-up orders) To ensure that your package can be fulfilled as soon as possible, ensure that your package is ready to ship ("Awaiting Collection") by your courier's pick-up time and "Shipped" by 23:59H.
  • (For drop-off orders) Ensure that your package is dropped-off and "Shipped" by 23:59H.

How to Identify Next-Day Delivery Orders

You can identify NDD orders through the Delivery Option column on the Order Management page.
To stay on top of these orders, click the “Next-day delivery” filter button to prioritize them.

What is the Next-Day Delivery Rate (NDDR)?

While the Next-Day Delivery tags may apply to orders placed throughout the day, the Next-Day Delivery Rate only focuses on orders placed between a stipulated timeframe.The Next-Day Delivery Rate measures the percentage of Next-Day Delivery orders (placed between 12:00AM to 12:00PM) that you fulfill on time within the past 30 Calendar Days (from 37 days ago to 8 days ago),
Example:
  • Your Shop receives 100 Next-Day Delivery orders (placed between 12:00AM to 12:00PM) over the past 30 Calendar Days
  • You fulfill 90 of these orders on time
  • Your NDDR is 90% (90/100 * 100%)

🎯We recommend maintaining an NDDR of > 90%

Note: While some orders may show as NDD-tagged to sellers, buyers will only see the tag if the seller meets high NDDR and other performance criteria.

  • A stronger Store Rating can unlock additional perks, visibility, and incentives for your shop on TikTok Shop.

UI features to help you manage your NDD orders

  1. For NDD orders, the Order Status timers will display NDDR deadlines instead of Late Dispatch Rate (LDR) deadlines.
If you miss an NDDR deadline, the next countdown will switch to the LDR deadline.

  1. NDD orders will also appear in your “Action Needed” section, with deadlines reflecting NDDR timelines.
