Request Access to Customer Phone Numbers

Starting from May 30, 2023, Platform will allow Indonesia sellers to apply for access to customer phone numbers through Seller Center. Sellers can apply by visiting the Order Details Page, and clicking on the eyelid icon next to the phone number in the Consumer Information section. Applications are approved on a case-by-case basis.

To protect our customers' privacy and create a safe and healthy shopping environment, seller requests to access customer phone numbers will be considered only when the following conditions are met:
  • Sellers are recommended to contact buyers through the official Shop IM channel first. Sellers can initiate the request only if the buyer has not responded to the seller's initial IM outreach within 24 hours.
  • The order status should be in the fulfillment phase. This means orders with an unpaid, completed or canceled status are not eligible for sellers to request access to phone numbers.
The system will approve the application based on the order status. After being approved, the seller will be able to view the customer's phone number immediately. If the system has rejected the application, the seller will be notified via pop-up message. Rejected sellers will then have the option to create a ticket to appeal the decision. Once the appeal has been reviewed and approved, the customer's phone number will be displayed.
