Payment Methods for Marketing Benefits Package

Before you confirm your purchase, please review the Payment Methods and Terms & Conditions carefully.
  • The Marketing Benefits Package supports up to 6 types of payment terms, though availability may differ by market.
  • Each package may support different payment methods and this is set by the platform. Sellers cannot change this payment method once selected.
    • However, if seller selects External Payment Method and the payment fails, the system will auto-deduct from seller balance when the package effective time starts.
  • On the package detail page, you can find the payment method, payment dates, and payment amount. Please check this information carefully before completing your purchase.

Order Commission, Single Period

With the Order Commission, Single Period payment type, your package fee is charged as a percentage of all sales made during the package period. The final fee will depend on your order volume, with minimum and maximum limits applied

How the Fee is CalculatedThe package fee is charged as a percentage of all completed sales made during the package periodUsing the above example:
  • Minimum fee of $100, Maximum fee of $1,000.
  • Total Package Fee will be seller supply price (includes seller discount, excludes platform discount) from 01/01/2025 -30/01/2025 * 5%
How the Fee is Deducted
  • Minimum fee of $100 will be deducted via your Seller Balance
  • Additional package charges will be deducted via your Seller Balance
When Seller Pays
  • Minimum fee of $100 will be deducted on the first day of the package period
  • Additional package charges will be deducted 21 days after the end of the package period.
Settlement Period
  • There is a 21 day settlement period starting from the package end date.
  • This means that if an order is created during the package period, and is settled within 21 days after the package end date, the order is counted and commission will be calculated.
  • Example Case 1:
  • (Package effective dates are 01/01/2025 - 30/01/2025)
    • The order was created on 29/01/2025 and completed on 13/02/2025.
    • This order is counted, and commission will be calculated
  • Example Case 2:
  • (Package effective dates are 01/01/2025 - 30/01/2025)
    • The order was created on 29/01/2025 and completed on 29/02/2025.
    • This order settlement period is beyond the 21 day settlement period. This order will not be counted.

Order Commission, Multiple Period

With the Order Commission, Multiple Period payment type, your package fee is charged as a percentage of all sales made during different package periods. The final fee will depend on your order volume, with minimum and maximum limits applied

How the Fee is CalculatedThe package fee is charged as a percentage of all completed sales made during the different package periodUsing the above example:
  • Minimum fee of $100, Maximum fee of $1,000.
  • Total Package Fee will be seller supply price (includes seller discount, excludes platform discount) from 01/01/2025 -28/02/2025 * 5%, from 01/03/2025 - 30/04/2025 * 5%, and from 1/5/2025 - 30/06/2025 * 10%
  • Please take note that the commission fee rate may be different for different package periods
How the Fee is Deducted
  • Minimum fee of $100 will be deducted via your Seller Balance
  • Additional package charges will be deducted via your Seller Balance
When Seller Pays
  • Minimum fee of $100 will be deducted on the first day of the package period
  • Additional package charges will be deducted 21 days after the end of the entire package period.
Settlement Period
  • There is a 21 day settlement period starting from the package end date.
  • This means that if an order is created during the package period, and is settled within 21 days after the package end date, the order is counted and commission will be calculated.
  • Example Case 1:
  • (Package last date 30/01/2025)
    • The order was created on 29/01/2025 and completed on 13/02/2025.
    • This order is counted, and commission will be calculated
  • Example Case 2:
  • (Package last date 30/01/2025)
    • The order was created on 29/01/2025 and completed on 29/02/2025.
    • This order settlement period is beyond the 21 day settlement period. This order will not be counted.

Mix Pay, Single Period

With the Mixed Payment, Single Period payment type, your package fee is charged as a percentage of all sales made during the single package periods. The final fee will depend on your order volume.
The difference between Mixed Payment and Order Commission is:

Order CommissionThe seller can not choose. Only Unsettled balance deduction is supportedCommission rate is calculated 21 days after package end date. Mixed PaymentThe seller can choose. Both Unsettled Balance deduction and External Payment Method are supported External Payment includes:
  1. Credit Card/ Debit Card
  2. Bank Transfer
Commission rate is settled with each completed order that is created during package effective time period. (Similar to platform commission fee) Additional package fees from commission will be deducted directly and settled with each order. (Similar to platform commission fee) There is no maximum cap. Commission will be continously calculated from all settled orders that are created during package effective period.

  • If the upfront fee of $100 is deducted via external payment method, the payment must be made at the point of package purchase/registration.
  • If the upfront fee of $100 is deducted via seller balance, the payment will be deducted on the first day of the package period.
  • Additional package charges will be deducted together with each settled order.

With the Mixed Payment, Multiple Period payment type, your package fee is charged as a percentage of all sales made during the different package periods. The final fee will depend on your order volume.

One-Time Charge

With the One-Time Charge payment type (Pay all upfront), your package fee is charged as a one-time payment fee for the entire package duration. There are no additional fees or commission calculations.
The seller can choose to pay via external payment method or unsettled seller balance.

When Seller Pays
  • If the upfront fee is deducted via external payment method, the payment must be made at the point of package purchase/registration.
  • If the upfront fee is deducted via seller balance, the payment will be deducted on the first day of the package period.

Periodic Payment

With the Periodic payment type (Pay package fee in multiple payments/ Payment Installments), your total package fee is fixed, with the total payments being split into different payment dates.
The seller can choose to pay via external payment method or seller balance. However, if the seller selects 'External Payment Method' and the payment fails, the system will auto-deduct from seller balance when the installment due date is passed.

How the Fee is CalculatedAll payment installments are displayed in the package payment terms. There are no additional commission charges during the package period.
How the Fee is DeductedFor each payment installment, the seller can choose to pay via external payment method or seller balance. However, if the seller selects Cash Payment and the payment fails, the system will auto-deduct from seller balance when the installment due date is passed.
When Seller PaysAll payment installment due date and time will be stated in the payment terms.

External Payment Method

  • Credit Card payment, Debit Card payment, and Bank Transfer are supported.
  • If you have chosen the external payment method, please ensure that you have successfully made payment.

  • If the external payment method fails, the system will automatically change your deduction method to seller balance after the deadline. You do not need to cancel or re-register.
  • Please choose your payment method carefully.
Completing Payments
  • If the external payment method fails, you can also go back to the manage package page, and continue with your payment with another card.

For Bank Transfer option
  • After clicking Bank Transfer, you will be redirected to view the platform's bank details. Please follow the instructions to complete the payment.
  • Once we have successfully received the payment amount, you can check the 'Payment Success' status in the settlement records. (See below)

Settlements & Invoice

Seller Balance Deduction

View from My Program Page
  1. To check your transaction settlement for your packages, visit your package from My Program page - Find your package.

  1. Click My Program and find the package you want to check.

  1. Click on View Records to check deduction history

  1. The deduction history will only be available when the seller balance has been deducted. Please refer to the payment methods above to check when the payment deductions are made.
  2. Click on View Settlement to check the transaction or Order ID.
  3. You will be redirected to your Finance tab
    • All package transactions will be shown here.
    • Clicking on View Details will redirect you back to the Package Detail Page

Please note:
  1. Seller balance deductions are made only from the unsettled balance. No deductions will be made from settled balance or withdrawal amounts.
  2. If the unsettled balance is negative, the deduction may not be processed immediately. Please wait until the unsettled balance becomes positive. Once available, the deduction record will be reflected in the unsettled balance adjustment details.

External Payment Deduction

Go to Seller Center > My Account > Account Settings > Bank accounts > Payments Account (To Pay) > Transaction History

  • All external payment method transactions and payments will be shown here.
  • You can filter for "Marketing Benefit Package Fee" and find the transaction for your packages.
  • Both payments and refunds can be tracked

External Payment Refunds

Refunds are only applicable if you paid using External Payment deduction at the point of registration, and if you cancel/withdraw/removed from the package before the package start date, or if you are rejected by the platform.
  • After you have successfully withdrawn from the package before the start date or rejected by the platform, an automatic refund process is initiated.
  • You can check if there is an automatic refund by checking the package's settlement history.
  • The refund will be credited back to your original payment account.
  • Check your " Bank Account Transaction History" page to view the refund transaction record.
    • If the refund fails, you will be prompted to provide another bank account or other method to receive the refund.
    • Please check the refund status on the "Bank Account Transaction History" page

A refund will be initiated. Please click on "view details" to check refund status. The refund status will be shown in the transaction history. If the refund fails, please provide another method in this page.

Payment Invoice

Your package fee invoice can be found in the Invoice tab.

  • The package fee will be included in your monthly invoice under “Platform Invoice.”

  • The package fee will be included in your monthly invoice under “Platform Invoice.”

Take note: If you have purchased multiple packages within one invoice cycle, the "Package Service Fee" will be inclusive of all Package fees charged in the invoice cycle. To view each package transaction breakdown, please check your Settlement/Transaction Page. image

Package Withdrawal

Sellers may be able to cancel registration or withdraw from packages at any time. However, withdrawal may have to be reviewed by the platform.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are at the platform's discretion. Take note: The only refund scenario that is supported is if the seller withdraws before package start date. (Applicable to External payment method only)
  • To withdraw from your packages, visit your package from My Program page - Find your package.
  • Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner
  • Click Cancel Registration/ Withdraw
  • If you don’t see the Withdraw option, it may mean that your package is not eligible for withdrawal
imageimageBased on package withdrawal rules, sellers may need to wait for platform to review their withdrawal request. Package status will be "Withdraw Under Review" Status. Once the withdrawal is approved, the package status will be "Expired".

FAQ

  1. Q: When am I eligible for a refund?
A: Refunds are only applicable if you paid using Cash Payment deduction at the point of registration, and cancel/withdraw/removed from the package before the package start date.
  1. Q: The package start date has passed and I wish to withdraw from the package. Am I still eligible for a refund?
A: After the package start date has passed, refunds are not guaranteed. Please contact your account manager for more information.
  1. Q: Why am I ineligible for certain packages?
A: This may be a system configuration or you have already registered into another similar type of package. Our Marketing Benefit Package system does not support the purchase of 2 ongoing commission type packages.
This means that the seller can only have 1 active Order Commission package and 1 active Mix Pay package at any given time.
