How to Setup Ads in Tokopedia & TikTok Shop Seller Center App (TTSC App)

Product Shopping Ads

Before Getting Started

  • Eligibility: Product Shopping Ads is available to invited TikTok and Tokopedia sellers.
  • Shop Integration Process: Complete shop integration process to ensure your Tokopedia account is linked to the Tokopedia & TikTok Shop Seller Center. Follow this link to understand how to complete Shop Integration.
  • Access to Advertiser account: Ensure your Tokopedia & TikTok Shop Seller Center account is linked to your Tiktok Ads Manager account (TTAM). Learn more.
  • Product Listings: Update your product catalog to ensure accurate and up-to-date images and information. Ads for out-of-stock products will pause automatically and resume once replenished.
  • Setup your payment account: To ensure that your ads is delivered, you need to setup your payment account through TTAM desktop. Learn more.

Steps to Access PSA in TTSC App

Note: Payment setup must be completed in TTAM Desktop. Refer to the TikTok Billing Options guide guide for assistance.
  1. Log in to TTSC App
    • Open the Tokopedia & TikTok Shop Seller Center (TTSC) app on your device.
  2. Navigate to Shop Ads
    • Go to the Shop Ads tab.
    • Note: If the tab is not visible, ensure your account has the required permissions (Main Administrator or Advertising Manager).
  3. Create a New Campaign
    • Tap on Create Ad to begin.
  4. Select Placement
    • Choose where your ads will appear:
      • Tokopedia Placement: Available for sellers with linked Tokopedia account.
      • TikTok Placement: Available for TikTok Shop sellers and selected sellers with Tokopedia linked accounts.
  5. Set Campaign Details
    • Enter your budget and schedule.
    • Minimum budget: IDR 6,000 (or US$ 0.6).
  6. Choose Optimization Goals
    • In the Bidding & Optimization section, select one of these goals:
      • Gross Revenue with ROAS target: Maximize your gross revenue to achieve the highest possible return on ad spend (ROAS).
      • Purchases with Target CPA: Maximize the number of submitted orders to achieve the lowest cost per order.
      1. Note: Clicks with Target CPC: Maximize the number of clicks to achieve the lowest cost per click, is unavailable in the TTSC app and requires TikTok Ads Manager (TTAM) Desktop access.
  7. Select Products to Advertise
    • All Products: Automatically promote relevant products from your catalog.
      • Tip: Create an always-on ad group to maximize visibility.
    • Specific Products: Select up to 300 products manually.
  8. Submit Your Campaign
    • Review your campaign details and tap Submit.

Monitoring and Managing Your Product Shopping Ads Campaign

When you create Tokopedia Product Shopping Ads (PSA) campaigns, regardless it is in TTAM or TTSC app, you can monitor their performance using detailed reporting tools available in the ShopAds tab in Seller Center.
This guide explains how to monitor and adjust your PSA campaigns using the TTSC app.
Monitoring Your Campaign
  1. View Campaign Performance
    • Go to Shop Ads > Campaigns in the TTSC app.
    • Check key metrics such as: Impressions, Clicks, Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Purchases and etc.
  2. Filter Metrics by Placement
    • Use the Filter option to view results for specific placements: Tokopedia or TikTok.
Note: If your campaign uses the "Clicks with target CPC" option, you can view performance metrics in the app but cannot manage these campaigns. To make adjustments, use TTAM Desktop.
Managing Your Campaign
For more advanced reporting options, visit the TikTok Ads Manager.
  1. Edit Campaign Settings
    • Adjust your campaign's budget, schedule, or optimization goals in real time.
  2. Pause or Reactivate Campaigns
    • Use the TTSC app to pause or reactivate campaigns as needed based on performance.

Guide to Set Up Payment for your Ads

Before you start advertising, it's important to set up a payment method. We advise you to do payment setup on TikTok Ads Manager Desktop version, not through the Tokopedia & TikTok Shop Seller Center mobile app, or you can access the payment web page through your mobile device.

Payment Methods Available

  1. Manual Payment
    • Description: You pay in advance for your campaigns by depositing funds into TikTok's designated bank account. This method gives you full control over your spending, with the balance being used for ongoing and future campaigns.
    • Payment Methods: Bank transfer, credit card, or other accepted payment methods.
  2. Automatic Payment
    • Description: TikTok Ad Manager will automatically charge your payment method when your ad spending reaches a billing threshold or the designated billing date.
    • Payment Methods: Credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods.
  3. Monthly Invoicing (For eligible businesses)
    • Description: You receive an invoice for all your ad transactions on a monthly basis, and payment is due 30 days from the invoice date.
    • Payment Methods: Bank transfer, credit card, or other accepted methods.

How to Set Up Manual Payment

  1. Log in to TikTok Ads Manager via desktop.
  2. Hover over the Tools tab and select the Payment module.
  3. Click Add Balance using your preferred payment method.
  4. Minimum top up: Rp100,000
  5. Once your balance is added, it will be available to fund your ad campaigns.

How to Set Up Automatic Payment

  1. Log in to TikTok Ads Manager via desktop.
  2. Hover over the Tools tab and select the Payment module.
  3. Select Automatic Payment as your payment method.
  4. Add a valid payment method (credit or debit card). Note: Prepaid cards cannot be used for automatic payment.
  5. TikTok will verify your card by deducting a small amount (typically $1). This charge will be refunded within 15 days.
