All content must not make false claims about a product.
False Claims
- The following claims/promises are prohibited:
- Making false claims about a product winning awards or having certifications without providing evidence of such awards or certifications in the content.
- Making false claims about a product being affiliated with other products.
- Exaggerating promotional prices or making unsupported price comparisons is not allowed. All price claims, including promotional prices, must be accurate.
- Making false claims about the origins of a product.
- Making false claims about product warranties.
- Making false claims about return or refund services for the product.
- Making false claims about the size, weight, or quantity of the product being sold.
- Making false claims about shipping, such as promising free shipping when it is not available.
- Making claims that disparage other brands.
What happens if I breach these guidelines?
If you are found to violate these guidelines, you may have enforcement actions taken against your account. You should note that repeated offenses will result in more significant penalties. How can I avoid Misleading Content?- Provide accurate details about your product, including size, material, origin, and effects.
- Do not exaggerate or make false product claims.
- If mentioning awards, certifications, or affiliations, ensure they align with product packaging and provide proof when needed.
- Do not negatively compare or disparage other brands to promote yours.
- Be honest about your personal experience with the product
