What is Tiered Commission?

Tiered Commission is a new feature that lets Sellers reward Creators with a new commission rate after they surpass a specific number of attributed orders.

How does it work?

Only the number of fully settled orders counts toward Tiered Commission. The Creator must generate content that leads to completed orders. An order will only be counted toward the requirement once it is fully settled with no refunds or returns.

Tier 1 (Commission Base Rate)10%In this case, a creator earns 10% on their first 100 orders. After that, they start earning 20% for orders 101 and beyond.
Order Threshold 100
Tier 2 (Commission Above Threshold Rate)20%
In this case, a creator earns 10% on their first 100 orders. After that, they start earning 20% for orders 101 and beyond.
Tracking for the next commission tier is based on the number of orders, not the number of products. In this scenario, even if a buyer purchases two products, if it's done in a single order, it still counts as only one order.

In this scenario, the Creator has 99 settled orders for the same product and needs one more to reach the next commission tier. Once a new order is settled without any refunds or returns, the total reaches 100. From that point on, the next settled order will earn the second-tier commission.

Checking Tiered Commission on Products

An easy way to check if a product has tiered commission is to view the commission details on its Product Card or Product Detail Page.

When browsing the Creator Center homepage or Product Marketplace, products showing two commission values indicate they are part of a tiered commission setup.

  • The first numerical value is the initial commission tier that the Creator will receive for the product.
  • The second numerical value is the upgraded commission tier after the Creator reaches the settled order requirement.
On the Product Detail Page, you can get more information on how to earn the upgraded commission tier.
