How does the affiliate program work?
You can add affiliate products to your TikTok Product Showcase and earn commissions on qualifying purchases. Different products have different commission rates.
How do I access the affiliate program?
The affiliate program is available for all creators. To access the affiliate program, you need to verify your name and make sure it matches the name on your beneficiary account. Your name can't be changed after it is submitted for verification. If the information is inaccurate, the withdrawal can't be processed and you won’t receive your commissions.
How do estimated commissions work?
The estimated commission is calculated by multiplying the product’s average discounted price by the commission rate. The final total payout summary may vary depending on the discounts available to different customers when placing an order.
How do I receive commissions?
You'll earn commissions from qualifying purchases of affiliate items. Your commission is calculated using this formula: Commission = (Revenue - Refunds) x Commission rate, which may vary from the estimated commission displayed on the Product Marketplace or product detail page due to consumers using different coupons. After a customer purchases one of your affiliate items, we'll show an estimated commission on affiliate orders page. This estimated commission is not final. Your final commission is calculated based on the actual revenue.
When will I receive the commission?
You should receive your commission on the 3rd or the 15th day after the order is successfully delivered, based on the seller's settlement period with TikTok Shop. Commissions for some orders may take longer due to disputes or refund or return requests. Commissions can't be paid until the dispute or request is resolved. You can see your withdrawable commissions in the 'Payout summary' section of the E-commerce Creator Center and add your beneficiary account to withdraw your commissions.
How do I contact customer support?
If you have any questions about the affiliate program or your commission, contact the TikTok support team. Include a full description and any relevant details, so we can help resolve your request.
What happens if the seller adjusts the commission rate?
If a seller highers a commission, it takes effect immediately. If a seller lowers a commission, it won't take effect immediately. For products you've already added to your showcase or linked in videos, you'll continue to earn the higher commission for 30 days. After that, the commission will update.
How to change commission settings in multiple countries?
You can change your commission settings in the product details page> promoting info> Payout Summary details. You can't change the settings for products in videos that have already been posted. To apply new settings to a video, update your settings and then re-post the video.
What is TikTok Bonus and how does it work?
TikTok Bonus (TB) is a program that gives additional incentives for selected creators to encourage product promotion. It applies additional rewards to qualifying sales based on predefined campaign rules.
TB campaigns
may have different requirements, such as:
- Only rewarding sales from newly posted videos.
- Live only sales.
- Having specific eligibility periods for orders to count.
Tips:- TB applies automatically to qualifying sales. No manual opt-in is required.
- Most TB campaigns require sales from newly content. Always check the campaign details.
- Budget limits may apply. If a campaign runs out of funds, bonuses will no longer be issued.
- TB applies to products from all sources like Product marketplace, Collab invites and Tiktok Shop Partners (Affiliate partners).
I sold a product, but I didn’t receive the TikTok Bonus . Why?
The most likely reasons are:
- The sale was attributed to an old video instead of new content required by the campaign.
- The video posting or sale did not happen within the campaign window.
- You have reached your maximum reward amount as described in the Bonus Detail page.
- The campaign budget was depleted before your sale was completed.
Tips:- If the campaign requires new content, check whether your video was posted after the campaign start date.
- Verify the exact start and end times of the campaign and compare them to when your video was posted and when the sale happened.
Do I need to re-add the product to my showcase to qualify for TikTok Bonus?
No, re-adding a product to your showcase is not required to receive TB. If a product you have already promoted qualifies for TB, the bonus will automatically apply as long as your video or live content meets the campaign criteria.
Tips:- If TB is content-specific, creating new content (videos or lives) during the campaign period can increase eligibility.
- Sales from showcase alone do not meet the criteria.
Do I need to opt in or click anything to receive TikTok Bonus?
No, if your content and sales meet the TB criteria, the bonus will be applied automatically.
Tips:- Ensure the product is properly linked to your content and follows the campaign guidelines.
- TB is applied at the time of the sale, so there's no need to activate it manually.
Are there limits to how much I can earn from TikTok Bonus?
Yes, each TB campaign has a
maximum reward cap per creator and per product. If you reach the limit, further sales may
not qualify for TB bonuses.
Tips:- If your TB individual product cap is approaching, shift your focus to other eligible products or upcoming TB campaigns to maximize earnings.
Do I need to create new content for each TikTok Bonus campaign?
It depends on the campaign type as described in the " Type of Content" on the "TikTok Bonus" page:
- (Common) "New Content Only" campaigns require sales from videos/lives posted during the campaign period.
- (Rare) "All Content" campaigns allow sales from both old and new videos.
Tips:- Creating new content during the campaign period increases your chance of qualifying for more TB bonuses.
- Always check the campaign description to see whether old videos are eligible.
